La Nature a façonné le monde. Elle lui a communiqué le visible et le tangible, de sorte que les choses sont immédiatement reconnaissables à nos yeux. Nécessaire pour que l’homme survive, cette familiarité de l’environnement a cependant un coût : la perte de l’étonnement premier qui rend l’art si impénétrable.
Nul ne sait pourquoi la Nature a choisi trois dimensions et non deux, cinq ou quinze. C’est peut-être sans importance au fond, car quel que soit leur nombre, le photographe cherche une dimension cachée, afin que, comme le dit Henry Wessel, la photographie fasse parler les choses qui n’existent pas.
Ces choses, ce sont pour moi des tableaux abstraits que la Nature a imaginé afin que nous retrouvions notre regard originel le temps d’une photographie.

Nature has shaped the world, communicating the visible and the tangible, so that our eyes immediately recognize things. Although this was necessary for humans to survive, this familiarity with the environment comes at a cost: the loss of that initial wonder that makes art so impenetrable.
No one knows why nature chose three dimensions instead of two, five, or fifteen. Ultimately, it may be of little importance, because whatever the number, the photographer seeks a hidden dimension, so that, as Henry Wessel said, photography can give voice to things that do not exist.
For me, these things are abstract images that nature has dreamt up, so that we can rediscover our primordial gaze, a fleeting instant of photography.
